Webot offers users convenience by pre-crediting their account on our platform when they make an ACH or Debit Card deposit.
This allows you to use your funds more quickly without waiting the full amount of time for your funds to be settled. We will then charge the connected payment method within 10-14 days from the original date of the transaction.
*Please note: While you can use your funds on the platform, you can’t withdraw the USD equivalent of this deposit (including the equivalent sum in crypto) for 14 days from the “Payment Received Time”. The withdrawal time limit for debit cards is ten days. The withdrawal time limit for Wire deposits is 24 hours.
You can find Withdrawable Time in the deposit history. Once this period has passed, you can freely withdraw your funds (or crypto equivalent).
Why is this the case?
Although it may not seem like it, traditional fiat (USD) payment systems like debit cards or ACH (bank accounts) take time to be processed and reach a final settlement. For example, when you swipe your debit card at a store, it seems like the transaction has been settled, but on the back end, it will take several days (at least) for the money to arrive at its final destination. We apologise for any inconvenience.
