Webot users agree to comply with the following standards of conduct to ensure the platform is used in a fair, secure, and compliant manner.
Any activity that is disruptive, abusive, or intended to manipulate markets or systems is strictly prohibited. The examples below are not exhaustive but provide clear guidance on unacceptable behaviour.
Prohibited Conduct
In connection with your use of Webot services, your account, or your interactions with Webot, other customers, or third parties, you must not:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or legal requirement, including those relating to financial services, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination, or advertising standards
- Hold, transfer, or trade crypto-assets that Webot reasonably suspects to be linked to fraud, financial crime, or other unlawful activity
- Engage in suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity, including but not limited to:
- Unusual transaction volumes within a short period
- Activity inconsistent with your known profile or account history
- Trading during extreme market conditions in a manner indicative of abuse
- Transactions connected to suspected market manipulation or breaches of this Code
- Take any action that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Webot platform, including its systems, infrastructure, or services
- Introduce or distribute malicious software, including viruses, malware, trojans, worms, or any code designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to systems or data
Market Abuse and Manipulation
You must not engage in any activity that may distort or manipulate the market.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Placing trades or orders with the intention of creating artificial price movements or misleading market signals
- Artificially inflating trading volume, including by buying and selling at similar prices to create the appearance of activity
- Splitting orders or executing multiple trades to give a false impression of demand or momentum
- Using repeated trades to create artificial trends in price direction
- Taking any action intended to unfairly influence the price of a crypto-asset on Webot or any other platform
Order and Trading Conduct
You must not:
- Place orders with no intention of execution (including placing and cancelling orders to mislead the market)
- Pre-arrange trades with another party to create artificial transactions or misleading activity
- Place orders on behalf of, or to assist, another person in circumventing controls or engaging in prohibited behaviour
- Place simultaneous buy and sell orders that could result in self-trading or artificial execution
System Integrity
You must not:
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to Webot systems, data, or services
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts in a manner that creates unfair advantage or impacts platform stability
Enforcement
Webot reserves the right to monitor activity and take appropriate action where this Code is breached.
This may include:
- Restriction or suspension of your account
- Cancellation of transactions or orders
- Freezing of assets where required
- Reporting to relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities
These actions may be taken without prior notice where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Final Interpretation
Webot reserves the right to interpret and apply this User Conduct Code in line with its regulatory obligations, including MiCAR, and to take any action deemed necessary to protect the platform, its users, and the integrity of the market.
